Hey friends, it’s Christy here with another card for our Spring Fling Challenge! For this one, I could not wait to ink up the brand-new Spring Basket stamp set. Nothing says Spring to me like sweet bunnies and cheerful daffodils. I’ve really been loving the softer, storybook style of coloring lately, so I stamped all of my images in Crunchy Leaf Ink, colored them with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For my focal panel, I trimmed down a piece of Bristol with the second largest Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables. I created a simple watercolor wash background using Salvaged Patina and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Inks. Once that was dry, I stamped a sentiment from Carrot ‘Bout You Banner Add-on in Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink.

Then I trimmed down some Bitsy Blooms 6×6 pad into three strips. I glued these to a Sticky Note card base, placing the floral prints and the top and bottom, and the plaid print in the middle. I popped my focal panel up with foam tape over the middle strip and glued down my images. To finish things off, I added a sprinkle of clear sequins and some Stardust Stickles.

If you’d like to see the whole process of creating this card, you can check out the video tutorial on my YouTube channel, Christy Gets Crafty. I really hope you enjoy it! We can’t wait to see what you come up with for our Spring Fling Challenge. Have a fantastic day!

This is card is so sweet, Christy! Thank you so much for the Spring Fling inspiration!

Hi friends, Samantha here! The current challenge is all about that Spring feeling! And what’s more spring than rainbows!

I started by stamping the images from All the Clouds, Upon a Star, Beary Rainy Day and Easter Party. Then I colored them all with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I added details with a white gel pen and then used the coordinating dies to die cut them all out!

I just love that bunny costumed kid jumping to keep the other bunnies dry! So sweet!
I popped up the costumed bunny and umbrella image with foam tape, as well as the sentiment. Then I heat embossed in white from the sentiment from Here for You Bear.

Thank you for this adorable and clever Spring Fling challenge inspiration, Samantha!

Mimi created a Spring showers interactive design featuring Beary Rainy Day!

Mimi designed the rainy scene with Cloudy Stencil, a grassy border and water puddles from Dad + Me. Then she added images from Beary Rainy Day and Here for You Bear to fill in the scene.

She used the coordinating dies from Snow Much Fun with Waving Pull-Tab Starter Set to make the umbrella move to reveal the “happy Spring” message below!

Thank you for sharing this clever Spring Fling design, Mimi!
