Samantha joins us today to share the cutest wedding card featuring the Sealed with a Kiss critters!

Samantha created a frosty color scheme based on the Watercolor Wishes Rainbow paper in purple and blue. She used an Outside In Stitched Heart Stackable to create the sweet scene for the happy couple. The wedding veil, top hat, tie and flowers are from Bicycle Built for You and the ice is found in Critters in the Arctic.

Samantha added some Mini Snowflakes in glittery Pixie Dust Sparkle cardstock. Then she stamped the Wavy Sayings sentiment on a Simple Wavy Banner to finish this perfect wedding card!

Thank you for this adorable inspiration, Samantha!

Christy’s Wizard of Oz Inspired Card

We hope you are having fun with the Inspired by a Book, Movie or Song challenge and we can’t wait to see your creativity! This challenge will be open until Sunday April 3 at 11:59PM ET.

Hey friends, it’s Christy with another card for our Inspired by a Book, Movie, or Song Challenge! Since the Wizard of Oz is my favorite movie, I wanted to try to recreate one of the most iconic scenes in the film.

I used the girl from Bicycle Built for You as the Wicked Witch of the East, and added in some foliage from You Are Sublime, Critters Down Under, and Butterfly Kisses. I stamped the images in Jet Black Ink, colored them with Copic markers, and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For the yellow brick road, I blended Mustard Seed Distress Oxide Ink onto a panel of Bristol Smooth Surface Cardstock, then added Fossilized Amber over top using the Brick Stencil. For the grass I used Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, and Rustic Wilderness on another piece of Bristol. Then for the house, I took some White Woodgrain Cardstock, cut it into strips, and distressed it with Pumice Stone. I trimmed the grass panel out with the Large Cross-Stitched Square Stackables, and the yellow brick road with one of the Simple Stitched Hillside Borders.

I layered the yellow brick road in the bottom right corner of the grass panel, added my Wicked Witch of the East, and then glued the strips of Woodgrain Cardstock over top at an angle for the house. Then I added some greenery around the edges of the house, just like you see in the movie.

Then I took a sheet of blue patterned paper from the new Gotta Have Gingham Rainbow Petite Paper Pad that reminded me of Dorothy’s dress and trimmed that down with the largest of the Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables. I adhered that to a Cilantro card base to represent the Emerald City and glued the focal panel on top.

The sentiment I took from Scripty Autumn Sentiments. I white heat embossed part of it on Black Licorice Cardstock and stamped the rest in Lobster Ink and trimmed that out with its matching die. Then to finish up the card, I added some red stickles to the ruby slippers to give them that classic shimmer.

I also stamped one of Dorothy’s friends on the inside. To see which one, you can check out the video tutorial on my YouTube Channel, Christy Gets Crafty. If you haven’t yet entered our Inspired by a Book, Movie, or Song Challenge, there is still some time! We can’t wait to see what projects you’ll come up with!

Thank you so much for sharing with us today, Christy! This design is so clever!
