Lawn Fawnatics Challenge 95 – Card Sketch

Hello Fawnatics friends! Welcome to a new challenge! For this challenge Jenn has created a fun Card Sketch to inspire your creativity! Your card can be any theme or style as long as we can see how the sketch influenced your design!

We invite you to share your creativity by linking up your crafty projects at the end of this post! Your project should feature Lawn Fawn stamps, dies and papers. This challenge will run for 2 weeks and be open until Sunday, February 28th at 11:59PM ET.

For each challenge, we will randomly select an entry to receive a $25.00 gift certificate to the Lawn Fawn shop! We will also be highlighting a few of your fabulous projects at the close of each challenge! By linking your projects to our challenges you will give permission for us to post your work to this blog and our social media sites. Check out the How to Play page for a few guidelines to play along. We want this to be FUN so we’ll keep the rules to just a few!

Let’s see how our Design Team used the Card Sketch to inspire them.

Samantha M used the sketch to place her cute unicorn, rainbow and clouds in her beautiful scene!

Christy used Foursquare Backdrop: Portrait to follow the sketch. She created cute little vignettes using Critters on the Farm!

Karin followed the sketch pretty closely to create a beautiful wedding card! She layered Lacy Heart Stackables with Cole’s ABCs to spell LOVE. Then she used the vines and flowers from Magic Iris Birdhouse Add-On to add pretty detail. She finished the card with a sentiment from Swan Soirée.

Jessica replaced the hearts with the cute typewriters from You’re Just My Type to follow the sketch. I love how the sentiment is continued on each sheet of typing paper. She finished this fun anniversary design with a sentiment from Happy Happy Happy!

Samantha C created a fun birthday card using Beam Me Up! She used the sketch to place these super cute images. I love how the “beam” connects the two elements!

Joyce used the sketch creatively by omitting one of the hearts! Then she used Outside In Stitched Heart Stackables as windows to arrange the Special Delivery images.

Franci created a happy design by replacing the hearts with adorable little flan from Sweet Friends! The tiny strawberries and hearts add cute detail to her clean and simple card.

Caly combined Candy Hearts and XOXO Backdrop: Portrait to create a happy design for Valentine’s Day!

Jenn used the new Distress Ink color Kitsch Flamingo to create a fun Flamingo Together design! You see the sketch reflected in the placement of the Stitched Hearts and the pair of flamingos!

We will share Design Team inspiration for you over the next 2 weeks and we’ll announce our Featured Fawnatics and random winner for Challenge 94 What’s the Weather tomorrow!

Jenn’s Lots of Love Inspiration

Happy Friday, Fawnatics friends! This is the last weekend for our Lots of Love challenge; have you joined the fun yet? Jenn is with us today to share a super cute Valentine card that I’m sure will inspire you!

I love how Jenn dressed the Holiday Helpers in pink and red for this love-filled design! She combined them with an envelope and speech bubbles from Love Letters, one of the Candy Hearts, and letters from Oliver’s Stitched ABCs!

To ground this sweet little collage, Jenn used Stitched Scalloped Borders to create a pretty panel. Then she layered it on a card base covered with Let It Shine 6×6 paper with shiny gold polka dots!

Thanks so much, Jenn for this beautiful Lots of Love inspiration!

The Lots of Love challenge will be open until this Sunday, January 31 at 11:59PM ET. Click HERE to head to the challenge post where you can link up your entry!

Have a wonderful weekend! Happy crafting!
