Design Team Inspiration

Catherine chose the Peppy Penguin for her holiday critters, and they are so cute! She stacked the penguins on a Build-A-Christmas Tree. She used Snowy Sky Stencil and Candy Cane Lane paper for the background. Catherine borrowed the earmuffs from Build-A-Snowman, altering them slightly so they fit the penguins.

It’s Christmas on the farm and the goats are wrapping gifts! Samantha‘s clever scene combined Christmas Dreams and Yeti or Not trees on a Stitched Hillside Backdrop: Landscape. Then she brought in the fun with You Goat This and Holiday Helpers!

Franci‘s adorable gift tags feature Cheesy Christmas on Tag, You’re It tags! She cut the tags from Candy Cane Lane paper and added a Stitched Hillside Border to each tag.

The holiday critters in Christy‘s design are having a busy night helping Santa deliver gifts! She used Simply Celebrate Santa, Ho-Ho-Holidays and Holiday Helpers images. Then she made a fun scene with Rooftop Border and the greeting with Finley’s ABCs.

The Car Critters bears are on the road to a joyful winter! Karin also used Car Critters Christmas Add-On and trees from Yeti or Not. The joyful sentiment is from Mice on Ice. Then she added a gold metallic Scripty Joy.

It’s a super fun holiday party with the Cheesy Christmas mice! Joyce created the happy scene on a Knit Picky Winter background. She stamped the mice sentiment on a Stitched Sentiment Banner.

How cute are the Furry and Bright pups playing in the deep snowdrifts! Samantha combined Puffy Cloud Borders with a Stitched Hillside Border to make all the snow. For the backdrop, she used Birch Tree Stencils with Unchartered Mariner and Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide ink. Then she added snowflakes with Snowflake Background Stencils and glittery stencil paste!

I just love how Mimi combined Hay There, Hayrides with Cheesy Christmas so the cute critters have a wagon to bring in the Christmas cheese tree! She made the background with an inked Stitched Wavy Backdrop. Then she added Simply Celebrate Winter trees, the Hay There barn and snow from Snowball Fight. She got so creative adding reindeer antlers and a red nose for Car Critters Christmas Add-On to the tractor!

Design Team Inspiration

Samantha created the sweetest wedding card featuring the cute mice from Christmas Before ‘n Afters! She decked them out in a veil and top hat from Bicycle Built for You, then placed them in an arch created with Secret Garden Window! She used pretty shades of purple paper from Watercolor Wishes Rainbow, Watercolor Wishes and Stripes ‘n Sprinkles. And she used Celebrate Border as her greeting.

Mimi has the perfect card for welcoming a sweet fur baby! She used the Secret Garden Window arch as a stencil to add Distress Mica color to the background. Then she altered the picnic basket from Crazy Antics to make a sweet basket for the little puppy from Simply Celebrate Critters. She also used a dog from Furry and Bright along with images from Little Bundle and Yappy Birthday.

Christy‘s colorful creation is perfect for celebrating winter birthdays or sending kudos for a job well done! Her snowy scene combines Penguin Party, Snow Cool, Beary Happy Holidays, Snowball Fight, Simply Celebrate Winter Critters and Simply Celebrate Winter Critters Add-On.

Our Elephant Parade set is so perfect for making baby cards! And I love how Karin stacked the two elephants in her sweet shaker scene! She also used Birch Trees, Heart Garland Backdrop: Portrait and Henry’s ABCs.

Joyce‘s cute card is perfect for weddings, anniversaries and engagements! She used little mouse critters from Simply Celebrate Critters and Christmas Before ‘n Afters. She added a Little Heart Strings Border and a sentiment from Peacock Before ‘n Afters.

Franci is ready with gift tags when there are new arrivals! I love that she used the sweet stork image from our first baby set, Plus One! She arranged the storks on Stitched Circle Tags with some puffy clouds from the Butterfly Kisses coordinating Lawn Cuts die set.

2024 is the Year of the Dragon so Catherine used our adorable Winter Dragon and Little Dragon to create a celebration card! For the background she combined Secret Garden Window and Fancy Lattice Backdrop. She created a “scroll” with a Stitched Rectangle and the rolling pin coordinating die from Baked with Love. For the firecrackers she used the tin cans from Bicycle Built for You and Fireworks Hot Foil Plates. And her greeting is from Offset Sayings: Christmas.

We will have more Design Team inspiration right here over the next 2 weeks and be sure to come back tomorrow when we’ll announce our Featured Fawnatics and random winner for Challenge 163 – Happy New Year Inspiration Board!
