Hello Fall with our Guest Designer, Peter!

Hello Friends! Today our amazing Guest Designer, Peter is back to share another fabulous Halloween/Fall Inspiration challenge card with us!

Peter’s card features the cute Car Critters bears out for a drive in the country! The beautiful Fall scene, created with Happy Harvest is inspired by the colors of the leaves and the cloudy sky in the inspiration board!

A Fun Magic Iris Card with our Guest Designer, Nancy!

Our talented Guest Designer, Nancy is back with more awesome inspiration for our Make the Sentiment the Star challenge! Her awesome Magic Iris card has a relaxing theme!

Nancy created an amazing interactive Magic Iris card to celebrate a retirement! I think relaxing on the beach would be first on my list of things to do upon retiring from work!

Let’s let Nancy share about her idea for this card:

I wanted to have a larger scene to build on so I ended up using the Magic Iris Add-On and turned it into landscape style.

Since I made the clouds with white paint I used the Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink to stamp the first sentiment. With this ink you don’t smear the ink on your panel but it stays crisp and black.

I always make bold and bright cards and make use of the space there is on a project. I also love to use different stamps of Lawn Fawn together. Old, new or different seasons it all goes so well together, always! I just love Lawn Fawn so much!

Nancy combined images from Butterfly Kisses, On the Beach, Really High Five, Ahoy Matey and Keep On Swimming along with palms from Hammock and Trees and Palm Trees die sets. She hid part of the sentiment inside the iris and then she finished the sentiment with Oliver’s Stitched ABCs!

Lawn Fawnatics Challenge 17 – Color Inspiration

Welcome to Challenge 17! For this challenge we have a beautiful color inspiration board to spark your creativity! We would love to see your cards, scrapbook pages, holiday decor and crafty projects using the colors and/or the photos below. This challenge will run through Sunday December 3 at 11:59PM ET.

For each challenge, we will randomly select a winner to receive a $25.00 gift certificate to the Lawn Fawn shop! We will also be highlighting a few of your fabulous projects at the close of each challenge! By linking your projects to our challenges you will give permission for us to post your work to this blog and our social media sites. Check out the How to Play page for a few guidelines to play along. We want this to be FUN so we will keep the rules few! Note: we’ve amended the rules a bit to limit entries to no more than 4 for each challenge.

Rhea created an adorable Scalloped Box Card Pop-Up filled with penguins from Here We Go A-Waddling!

Jessica‘s sweet clean and simple design features Christmas Dreams!

Karin used the inspiration colors for the penguin trio from Here We Go A-Waddling! They really pop against the neutral background on this beautiful card!

Samantha C created a sweet little winter scene that combines the birch trees from Joy to the Woods with our Yeti and a sentiment from Believe in Yourself!

Samantha M added wonderful detail to her Winter Owl design with a Stitched Snowflake cut out revealing the beautiful inky blue beneath!

The challenge colors add to the cozy look of Christy‘s Christmas Dreams scene!

We will have Design Team inspiration for you over the next 2 weeks and of course, we will have our Featured Fawnatics and Random Winner from Challenge 16 tomorrow!
