Good morning! Jess here with a card for our current Sketch challenge! I’m taking a few liberties with the heart shapes in the sketch but I’m keeping a heart/love theme, so I think it works!

To start I smooshed Mermaid Lagoon, Peacock Feathers, and Picked Raspberry Distress Ink onto a piece of acetate. I spritzed the acetate with water and then pressed it to a piece of watercolor paper. I held it in place for a few seconds until the ink had a chance to absorb into the paper and then lifted the acetate. I spritzed it again and pressed it to the paper a few more times until I was happy with the look. Then I let it dry completely. Once it was dry, I spritzed it with shimmer spray and blotted off the excess.

While the panel was drying, I die-cut three envelopes and three hearts from Happy Mail with white cardstock. I pressed the hearts into each of my distress ink pads to match the background. Then I folded and adhered the envelopes together and attached each heart on top.
Next, I stamped the owl and letter from Special Delivery with Copic-friendly Jet Black ink and colored them with Copic markers. I fussy cut them and then added him to my card with an action wobble. I added a sentiment from Special Delivery Box Add-On to complete the owl’s message and finished the card by adding some white gel pen accents and a little glitter to the hearts!
And that’s it! You have one more week to get crafty and I can’t wait to see how you interpret the sketch! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a fantastic weekend! ~Jess
