Design Team Inspiration

Franci was inspired by the movie “You’ve Got Mail” to make a clean and simple card! She cleverly used Happy Mail Foiled Washi Tape for the mail. And she cut out the movie title with Finley’s ABCs from white cardstock to layer on Paper Bag cardstock.

Samantha combined Ahoy Matey and Fairy Friends for her thank you card inspired by “Peter Pan”! She also used Stitched Pond to create the island!

Christy‘s inspiration came from a children’s song, “Going on a Bear Hunt”! She brought it to life with Heart Tree, It’s a Bird, Snow Much Fun and a sentiment from Car Critters.

Karin‘s inspiration is the classic “The Sound of Music”! I love that Marie is being played by the mother duck from Rub-A-Dub-Dub with an apron from Sew Very Mice! The von Trapp children are played by Tiny Birthday Friends! She created the famous hills with Over the Mountain Borders.

Joyce shows us that Harry Potter is a fun theme that’s perfect for creating a Stitched Bookmark! She used the Special Delivery set and stenciled the bookmark with Skinny Stripes Stencils!

Samantha used Elephant Parade, Kanga-rrific and Kanga-rrific add-On to bring to life the nursery rhyme, “Kookaburra Sits in the Old Gum Tree”.

Mimi was inspired by the movie “Kung Fu Panda” to customize some of our cute critters! She created the scene with Desert Canyon Backdrop and Heart Tree. Then she assembled the cast of characters from I Heart Pandas Add-On, Toucan Do It, Critters in the Desert and Rub-A-Dub-Dub.

Mayra chose “Peter Rabbit” to inspire this storybook themed card! She used Little Woodland Library, Some Bunny, Rub-A-Dub-Dub, Heart Tree, Spring Basket, Crazy Antics, Tea-rrific Day plus too many more sets than can be listed here. Can you identify all the sets?

She used Foursquare Backdrop: Portrait for the card front and Stitched Hillside Borders to create the storybook look on the inside of the card.

Catherine assembled lots of cute critters to illustrate a happy Winnie the Pooh scene! Pooh bear is played by Little Snow Globe: Bear. Piglet is from Tiny Farm, Roo is from Kanga-rrific, Rabbit is from Eggstra Amazing Easter and Owl is from S’more the Merrier!

Inspired by the back cover of Little Golden Books, Christy combined a bunch of woodland critters sets to create a lovely birthday card! She used Porcu-pine for You, Scent with Love, Let’s Go Nuts, Wood You Be Mine, Critters in the Arctic and A Bug Deal.

Mimi‘s design is so clever, inspired by The Super Mario Bros Movie! As always, Mimi likes to shop her stash to create lookalike characters! Here’s the list of sets she used:
Mario/Luigi
Ugly and Bright -bear (masked bear nose/mouth), letters L,M on cap
Little Bundle -overalls

Franci combined Veggie Happy and Eggstra Amazing Easter to create a card inspired by Peter Rabbit!

Samantha created a sweet design inspired by Alice in Wonderland! She filled her scene with images from Bicycle Built for You, Tea-rrific Day and Tea-rrific Day Add-On. She also used Oh Gnome, Meadow Backdrop: Portrait and Spring Showers!

Joyce was inspired by the movie “You’ve Got Mail”, where Tom Hanks’ character Joe Fox and his dog Brinkley have just received an e-mail from Meg Ryan’s Kathleen Kelly. She used images from Virtual Friends and Virtual Friends Add-On. She also added to her scene with Screen Time, Yappy Birthday, You’re Just My Type, Den Sweet Den, Special Delivery and Love Letters.

This interesting design by Karin was inspired by a favorite book she read last year: Charlotte McConaghy’s Once There Were Wolves about Inti who wants to save the wolves and care for her younger sister Aggie. The sisters are both glad they are “in the same pack. She illustrated the theme using Wild Wolves and Lift the Flap Tree Backdrop.

Samantha was inspired by her all-time favorite book series: A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas. She used Cloudy Stencil, Stitched Mountain Borders to illustrate her theme. Then she used Milo’s ABCs to add a quote.

Jenn‘s super sweet card is inspired by Strawberry Shortcake! She used Outside In Stitched Strawberry and Strawberry Patch along with Berry Special and Meow You Doin’. She made the sentiment with Finley’s ABCs and Riley’s ABCs, then she assembled everything on water-color clouds using Cloud Background Stencil.
