Karin’s Gorgeous Butterflies!

Karin shares a lovely Spring design based on our Card Sketch! I hope it will inspire you to join the challenge!

Karin started by using the Just Stitching Hearts dies to create the pretty pattern on the Storm Cloud panel! It’s such a simple step but it adds so much detail!

Using a stamping tool like a MISTI, Karin first stamped the Flutter By butterflies in Jellyfish Copic-friendly ink on white cardstock. She left the stamp in the MISTI while she colored the butterflies in beautiful Spring color combinations. Then she returned the butterflies to the MISTI to stamp them once again with Clear Embossing Ink and emboss them with gold embossing powder!

A Delightful Heart Day Card with Samantha!

Hey everyone, Samantha here wishing you a very happy Valentine’s Day! I have created a sweet little Valentine’s scene inspired by the current Lots of Love challenge! I love the washy rainbow color palette and the casual hearts on the inspiration board. Rainbow colors are always fun to work with and they bring such a fresh look to your project.

The sweet little ducks from the Rub-A-Dub-Dub stamp set are so expressive and adorable. The ducks are having fun dancing under the raining hearts. The tiny umbrella from the Elphie Selfie stamp set is scaled perfectly for the ducks. I stamped the pond from the Dad + Me stamp set in the Fresh Lavender ink. I colored shadows on top of the ink with my Copic makers. I love to color on top of colored ink, because it is a quick and easy way to add depth to a flatter stamped image. I added rainbow color in the umbrellas and the Rain or Shine Before ‘n Afters rainbow!

The Just Stitching Hearts die cuts are so amazing for backgrounds. You can layer the different hearts together for an interesting look. They add a fun tonal element behind your scene.

An Out of this World Card with Joyce!

Happy Wednesday, Fawnatics friends! Today Joyce shares an amazingly adorable card with a simple design that uses just one stamp set and one die set!

To create the beautiful background, Joyce did some ink blending then she used Just Stitching Hearts to add some love-inspired detail! Then she added some white paint splatters for even more interest!

She created her sweet outer space scene with Out of This World images that she colored in pretty pastel Copic colors! The sentiment was stamped directly on the background to finish this simply amazing card!
