A Clever Fortune Teller Tabby Scene with Samantha!

Be sure to join us this week for our September Inspiration Week at the Lawn Fawn blog! There will be some amazing inspiration, Intro Videos and of course, giveaways!

Hey everyone, Samantha here with a card that is inspired by the current “Create a Scene Challenge!” I love creating scenes because they are so much fun to put together. It is like each stamped image and additional elements build so much more interest to your project. For my card, I created a birthday party scene that combines multiple stamp sets together.

With some masking and cutting I was able to transform the cat from the Fortune Teller Tabby stamp set into a birthday party guest. Instead of having a crystal ball, the cat is celebrating with her fish friend who lives in an adorable fish bowl from Keep on Swimming! I drew lines on the bowl to create part of the cat’s body.  I masked the moons on the table cloth and replaced them with bubbles to coordinate with the fish! The accessories from the Party Animal stamp set coordinate perfectly with my party scene.

You have time to enter the “Create a Scene Challenge!” The challenge is open until this Sunday September 15 at 11:59PM ET, and there is so much inspiration from both the design team and current entries! I hope you have a wonderful day!

Little Bookmarks with Grace

Grace joins us today with some sweet “little” inspiration for our Little Things challenge! She made unique bookmarks using our Say What? Gift Tags!

Grace used the Reveal Wheel Keep on Swimming Add-On to create see-through shaker fish bowls on the bookmarks. She stamped and white-embossed the fish bowl and added some color. Then she decorated the bookmarks with tiny images from Keep on Swimming and Fintastic Friends adding a tiny pearl to the clams. The sentiments are embossed with white and silver embossing powder to give them some shine!

Each bookmark is a double-layer that is attached at the top with cord so the bookmark can slide over the top of a book page to hold your place in cute style! Check out the supply list below for all of the products used on Grace’s adorable bookmark project!

Thank you so much for sharing with us today, Grace! Your Little Things bookmarks are so adorable!

Our Little Things challenge will run for 3 weeks and be open until Sunday, August 4th at 11:59PM ET. We can’t wait to see your creative projects!
