Mimi has her sights set on a sightseeing tour of wine country! Her vineyard scene combines lots of sets in very clever ways!

Mimi used Stitched Hillside Borders, Cloudy Stencil, Forest Border and Little Farm Fence Border to create an amazing landscape. Next, she used images from Veggie Happy to create the grape vines with small pinecones from Winter Birds as the grape clusters. That is just so creative!

And then, she used mice from Sew Very Mice, turning the embroidery hoop into a wine barrel. The basket filled with more grapes is from Apple-solutely Awesome and the bread, cheese and wine bottle image is from Bicycle Built for You! She finished the design with an apropos sentiment from Year Fourteen!

I love this wonderful inspiration, Mimi! Thank you for sharing your creativity!

Catherine designed a beautiful party with a sewing theme! This is perfect inspiration for your next party and a great way to think outside the birthday card for the “All Things Birthday” challenge!

Catherine designed this party with pretty pastels based on the Flower Market papers! For the banner she used Stitched Party Banners, Fancy Scalloped Circles and Louie’s ABCs.

For the cupcakes she used more Flower Market papers for the Stitched Scalloped Cupcake Wrappers. Then she added coordinating toppers with Scalloped Circles, Fancy Scalloped Circles and cute images from Sew Very Mice and Sewn with Love!

Who could resist this amazing party invitation? Catherine began with a Fancy Scalloped Rectangle, then she layered on Sunburst Backdrop. She created a fun shaker element with Embroidery Hoop which is the perfect place to add the party theme! I love how she included the party particulars in the Sew Very Mice embroidery hoops, that is just so clever!

Thank you so much for this brilliant party inspiration, Catherine! Such a fun party idea!

Design Team Inspiration

Samantha‘s cheerful birthday card features the Really High Five critters with colorful stenciled clouds! I love how she also used the box from Special Delivery Add-On for the little mouse!

Mimi‘s clever card features our Year Thirteen birthday set with cute dim sum and a punny greeting! To create a festive party on her card, Mimi used Balloons Stencil to fill the background with balloons and confetti! She combined the grill from Let’s BBQ with the cat bed from Meow You Doin’ to create the steamer baskets, so brilliant!

A day at the amusement park is perfect to celebrate a birthday! And Joyce‘s beautiful Wheely Great Day design sends a really happy greeting!

Christy‘s adorable card with Elephant Parade is perfect for a first birthday! She combined pretty layers of Stripes ‘n Sprinkles and What’s Sewing On papers before adding the sweet little scene!

Karin created a special birthday card using pretty botanical dies cut with gold metallic cardstock. I love the grid watercolor grid design; it looks so sophisticated.

Perfect for kids of all ages, Samantha‘s “have a wild birthday” card features Toucan Do It! She stenciled tropical leaves on the background, then gave it some party flair with balloons and party hats!

Franci‘s card is so pretty! She used Wheely Great Day and kept the design sweet and simple! How adorable it the smiley face on the ticket?

Catherine created a birthday card that is perfect for a quilt loving friend! I love how she created “quilt blocks” with What’s Sewing On paper, and then added all the adorable Sew Very Mice critters! The floss wrapped spools are a brilliant detail!
