Check out the How to Play page for a few guidelines to play along. We want this to be FUN, so we’ll keep the rules to just a few!

Design Team Inspiration

It looks like most of our Design Team members are country girls at heart!

Catherine created a super fun, superhero in the city themed Platform Pop-Up card! The superhero mouse from You Autumn Know has a mask and cape from Happy Howloween. Catherine created the cityscape with Village Border, Build-A-Castle and Build-A-Barn. Then she added emergency vehicles from Village Heroes.

Joyce created a country fair scene with the new Ferris Wheel from Wheely Great Day! She added to scene with Village Shops and Happy Village, then she added lots of happy Tiny Friends!

What could be more “country” than a barnyard full of cute farm animals! Samantha combined Hay There with You Goat This to create a country themed birthday card!

Mimi‘s Apple-solutely Awesome apple-picking scene is so adorable! She included smaller trees from Tree Before ‘n Afters and layered all the trees on treetops from the Tree House set. She also added the wagon from Let’s Go Nuts and the net from Butterfly Kisses Flip-Flop, so clever.

You Goat This and All-Star combine in Samantha‘s country scene! I love the pink sunrays she inked in the background with white stencil paste clouds over the top!

Christy‘s amusement park scene is filled with sunshine and fun! She combined Wheely Great Day and Coaster Critters with some trees from Happy Village!

Franci‘s cute You Goat This scene makes me think of an alpine meadow in the Spring! I love that she created her scene in a die cut circle with Heart Garden Border, layering the cute goats on top!

We will share more Design Team inspiration for you over the next 2 WEEKS and we’ll announce our Featured Fawnatics and random winner for Challenge 146 – Color Inspiration tomorrow! We can’t wait to see which theme you will choose, city vs country!

Today we have a special treat for you! Both of our wonderful Samanthas have Inspired by a Book, Movie or Song ideas for you!

Samantha Casey created a fun take on Where’s Waldo with our Tiny Friends sets! She framed all the people with a Stitched Scalloped Square Frame. I love how she framed “Waldo” with the magnifying glass from Hey Lady!

Samantha Mann was inspired by the Disney movie, Pocahontas! She says her favorite characters are Meeko and Flit. She used raccoons from Holiday Party Animal and Critter Concert for Meeko, and the cute hummingbird from Gleeful Gardens stars as Flit. The bathtub from Rub-A-Dub-Dub stands in for the canoe while Samantha customized one of the mermaids from Mermaid for You as Pocohontas. I love her beautiful background, inked blended perfectly then die cut with Peekaboo Backdrop!

So, you still have plenty of time to join us for this challenge! We can’t wait to see what inspires you and how you will show us!

Big thanks to our wonderful Samanthas! Your creativity is always so amazing!

Mimi’s Amusement Park Scene with Two Interactive Elements

Mimi doubled the fun for her great amusement park scene! She added both the Reveal Wheel and Let’s Toast Pull Tab Add-On interactive element!

Mimi used Coaster Critters for the roller coaster, Ahoy Matey for the palm trees and snow from Winter in the Park as bushes in creating this wonderful scene.

She added characters from Tiny Friends and Tiny Sports Friends! I love how she turned one of them into a balloon-selling clown. To create the swing in the foreground Mimi combined the ship from Ahoy Matey with a piece from the swing set in Let’s Play. That’s what I call getting the most from your stamp sets!

The Reveal Wheel makes the tiny coaster cars loop the loop! Mimi used the hamster wheel from Wheelie Like You to add the loop on the roller coaster!

The Let’s Toast Pull Tab Add-On makes the large coaster cars emerge from the tunnel at the end of the ride! And you’ll never guess what Mimi used for the “tunnel”. Check out Let’s Roll! She turned the sushi roll on its side, so clever!

Thanks so much for sharing this clever and creative inspiration, Mimi!
