Samantha‘s whimsical “Hoppy” Holidays card is filled with all the bright color of the season!


It’s the holidays in the pond with Toadally Awesome and Bayou Backdrop! Samantha included fun holiday details like the Santa hat from Frosty Family, a Christmas tree from Yeti or Not and strings of lights from Treat Cart Add-On: Coffee! She cardstock in glittery green from the Holiday pack and shimmery blue from the Gemstone Shimmer pack.

Samantha explains her Show Us Where You Live design: I live in South Carolina, and it’s called the Low Country here for a reason! lol! You can guarantee, any time you see a body of water (small or large!) there will be an alligator swimming in it!


Samantha inked the background and the Stitched Pond to start setting the scene for this alligator habitat. She used Distress Oxide ink in Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon, Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn and Pine Needles. Then she filled in images from Critters in the Jungle, Toadally Awesome and Swan Soirée.


Finally, she added the alligators from Croc My World and Wild For You and the perfect little message! Somehow these two don’t look so intimidating.

Samantha’s Sweet Critter Birthday Card

We invite you to join us for our current All Things Birthday Challenge! It will be open until Sunday, March 20th at 11:59PM ET. We can’t wait to see your creative birthday ideas!

Samantha created a birthday card with some super cute critters! She started with a Fancy Lattice Backdrop in white layered over a Speckled Eggshell panel. She added this to a Ballet Slippers panel to create a pretty pastel background.

Next, she stamped, colored and die cut images to create a sweet critter birthday celebration! She combined Birthday Before ‘n Afters, Butterfly Kisses, Really High Five, Dandy Day and Scootin’ By. For the greeting she stamped a birthday message from Wavy Sayings on a Simple Wavy Banner.
