Samantha’s Taco ‘Bout Your Birthday Treat Box!

Hey everyone, Samantha here with a cute gift box that is inspired by the current “Perfect for Parties” challenge! I LOVE creating handmade cards, packaging, and decor for special occasions. I especially love creating projects for birthdays! You can customize all the different components to create a truly special experience for your friend or family member!

I created a simple but yet totally adorable Scalloped Treat Box that is perfect for a small gift or gift card! Birthday and tacos are such a fun combination. I used the Year Nine stamp set to decorate my box. The tiny cake from the Party Animal set is a perfect fun addition to the birthday scene. Also, how adorable would it be have shredded green paper inside the box that looks like lettuce! It would tie in perfectly with the taco theme.

You still have time to enter the  “Perfect for Parties” challenge! The challenge is open until Sunday June 16th. Please check out the challenge page for TONS of inspiration from both the design team and the amazing entries!

Thank you so much for stopping by, I hope you have a great day!

Let’s Taco ‘Bout Your Birthday with Joyce!

Joyce joins us today to share super fun inspiration for our Fun with Food challenge! She made a Magic Picture Changer birthday card featuring the cute taco from Year Nine!

Joyce stamped and colored the tacos on the card base to add lots of fun to this festive birthday card! Then she stamped and colored the taco for the Magic Picture Changer scenes adding some shading for interest.

When the tab is pulled up, the picture changes to reveal a happy, party hat-wearing taco and colorful confetti! That should put a smile on your face!

Let’s check out the buffet of yummy Design Team inspiration!

Samantha C made a card that has me craving a pepperoni pizza! I guess the Yeti, Set, Go critter loves Pizza My Heart too!

Karin created a charming little cafe window for the Baked with Love cupcakes! The striped awning is from the Scalloped Treat Box Spring House Add-On! She also used Quinn’s ABCs, Winter Skies, Here We Go A-Waddling and the Quilted Backdrop.

The Let’s Toast avocados are the stars of Joyce’s fun design! She used Spiffy Speckles and Really Rainbow Scallops to give her clean and simple card great color and pattern!

Everything is more fun with s’mores! Jessica combined Sweet Friends with a fun sentiment from Love You S’more to create this happy card!

Let’s taco ’bout Franci‘s adorable card using the Year Nine taco! A Birdie Told Me is an older set but those speech bubbles work perfectly on this adorable birthday card!

Jelly beans are food, right? Christy made a beautiful card for Easter using the Eggstra Special Easter set complete with jelly beans, chocolate bunnies and Easter eggs! I love the pretty background she created with Spiffy Speckles pastel papers!

Grace created a fabulous fiesta in a Scalloped Box Card Pop-Up! The avocados are from Let’s Toast and the tacos are from Year Nine. Then she got really creative and turned the Be Hap-pea pea pods into red chili peppers and the How You Bean? jelly beans became pinto beans!

Samantha M made a beautiful inky background for her tropical pineapples! This cool couple was made using our Aloha mini set along with that cute and punny sentiment!

Jenn created a festive and colorful birthday card featuring the Year Nine tacos! Her die cut Finley’s ABCs letters are inked with eye-catching colors!

We will have Design Team inspiration for you over the next 2 weeks and of course we’ll share our Featured Fawnatics and random winner for Challenge 49 tomorrow!
