Let’s turn down the summer heat and play with holiday sets! That’s right, it’s time for Christmas in July! So get the Christmas music playing and get a start on your holiday crafting!
We invite you to share your creativity by linking up your crafty projects at the end of this post! Your project should feature Lawn Fawn stamps, dies, stencils and papers. This challenge will run for 3 weeks and be open until Sunday, August 6 at 11:59PM ET.
For each challenge, we will randomly select an entry to receive a $50.00 gift certificate to the Lawn Fawn shop! Everyone who enters a challenge has a chance to be the random drawing winner! Woohoo!
We will also be highlighting a few of your fabulous projects at the close of each challenge! By linking your projects to our challenges, you will give permission for us to post your work to this blog and our social media sites. Check out the How to Play page for a few guidelines to play along. We want this to be FUN, so we’ll keep the rules to just a few!
Design Team Inspiration
How fun to think that Santa and Mrs. Claus are getting away for a Beachy Christmas in July! But did you ever think that the Mrs. was a mermaid at heart? Samantha captured the theme perfectly; how cute is that reindeer in the Pool Party float. Other sets she used are Ho-Ho-Holidays and Mermaid for You!
There’s a joyful Snowball Fight happening on Catherine‘s Christmas in July inspiration! She created the snowy scene with Stitched Hillside Borders trimmed in Chunky Glitter and some Birch Trees! The sentiment combines Scripty Joy with a phrase from Offset Sayings: Birthday.
Christmas Fishes and Ready Set Snow are a great holiday combination! Samantha framed her card with Bayou Backdrop in bright holiday green glitter cardstock!
Christy‘s seashell and coral “Christmas tree” is so beautifully unique! She combined How You Bean Seashell Add-On with coral from Mermaid for You. Her color palette and background inking are so special and highlight her clever design!
Mimi‘s light up card is so much fun with the cute anglerfish from You Are Sublime and his Anglerfish Flip-Flop pal! She created a clever snow globe scene using Christmas Fishes and Magic Iris Snow Globe Add-On.
Franci is thinking cozy holiday thoughts with these cute critters from Ugly and Bright! She gave their “ugly sweaters” lots of colorful charm before sending them out into her snowy scene!
These critters are having snowy fun in Karin‘s Window Scene: Winter scene! The sledding critters are from Snow One Like You and she added a greeting from Snowball Fight.
Who doesn’t need lots of gift tags for the holidays? Joyce created a sweet design that is quick to make in multiples. She started with a star-shaped tag from the original Tiny Tags die set, then she layered one of the cute Christmas Fishes on top. She found the fun little speech bubbles and greetings in the Ugly and Bright set!
Time for some “figgy pudding”! Jenn gave the Tea-rrific Day set a holiday spin by adding images from A Creature Was Stirring, Snowball Fight and Sweet Christmas. The scripty sentiment is from Toboggan Together.
Jenn kindly included her Copic marker selections for this cheery and bright color palette!
