Hello Fawnatics Friends! Time for a new challenge to inspire your creativity! Sunny skies, snow storms, rainy, cloudy, windy; create a project with a weather theme for our What’s the Weather challenge! Your project should feature Lawn Fawn stamps, dies and papers. This challenge will be open until Sunday March 3 at 11:59PM ET.
For each challenge, we will randomly select a winner to receive a $25.00 gift certificate to the Lawn Fawn shop! We will also be highlighting a few of your fabulous projects at the close of each challenge! By linking your projects to our challenges you will give permission for us to post your work to this blog and our social media sites. Check out the How to Play page for a few guidelines to play along. We want this to be FUN so we’ll keep the rules to just a few!
We have a Guest Designer for this challenge and we are so excited to introduce Marine Simon! She has been wowing us with her amazing cards and we are so happy to have her join us as our guest! You can find Marine on Instagram, YouTube and at her blog Blue Marine Craft! We know her awesome creativity will inspire you!
Marine‘s card is filled with sunny, glittery goodness! She started with a Stitched Cloud Backdrop and added a Copic colored Rainbow sprinkled with Chunky Glitter! The clouds (complete with silver linings) are from Blue Skies and the sun is from Out of This World! She finished this amazing card with a sentiment from Life is Good and scattered some stamped sparkle from Fairy Friends!
And now our amazing Design Team is here to inspire your creativity!
Who wouldn’t have an awesome day with this colorful sky up above! Samantha painted a rainbow of color then added images from Out of This World and Plane and Simple! The awesome sentiment is from Critter Concert! Check out the close up to see the cute glittery freckles on the faces of the clouds and sun!
Every bunny knows you need some Spring showers to make those yummy carrots grow! Joyce‘s sweet scene combines cuteness from Some Bunny, Upon a Star, and Plus One!
The weather forecast for Christy‘s card is clear with a chance of gnomes! She used our soon-to-be-released Oh Gnome! set combined with Gleeful Gardens, Bicycle Built for You and Gnome Sweet Gnome!
Jessica is a winter-loving girl so her extraordinary card has a gorgeous snowflake-filled night sky! The silver glitter Stitched Hillside adds to the frosty landscape for the scarf-wearing critter from Winter Skies! Ironically, the silver embossed sentiment is from our summer themed set, Life is Good!
Karin went with a snow theme as well, creating a sweet shaker card with frosty white sequins! She used Winter Skies and a Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Frame!
Samantha‘s super cute and whimsical card features our little RAWR dino jumping in puddles after the rain! She used the soon-to-be-released set Rain or Shine Before ‘n Afters on her amazing sky background!
Grace‘s card has our Rub-A-Dub-Dub ducks frolicking in the rain and the sunshine! Her custom Reveal Wheel card spins from sprinkles to sun rays!
Here’s a peek behind the scenes of Grace‘s customized Reveal Wheel card.
Franci used Finley’s ABCs to spell out her adorable weather-themed sentiment on the outside and inside of her fabulous card! She used our soon-to-be-released Llama Tell You mini set to add a total cuteness factor!
Jenn‘s cheerful card features a watercolor sky on a Stitched Cloud Backdrop! She added more clouds with Simple Puffy Clouds and sunny color with our Rainbow die! For the greeting she combined a phrase from Simply Sentiments with a hello from Yay, Kites!
We will have Design Team inspiration for you over the next 2 weeks and of course we’ll share our Featured Fawnatics and random winner for Challenge 46 tomorrow!
