Grace joins us today to share some What’s the Weather? inspiration with you! Her card depicts a blustery day with help of some custom engineering with our Let’s Toast Pull Tab Add-On!
You get a little preview of the cute Butterfly Kisses fox (our Spring 2019 Release will be available just after midnight tonight! Yay!) as he tries to prevent his little friend from Rub-A-Dub-Dub from being blown away in the wind! For the background Grace used Stitched Windy Backdrop and added clouds and dotted swirls from Butterfly Kisses to create the look of a windy day! Our little duck is holding an umbrella from Hello Baby.
Grace used the Let’s Toast Pull Tab Add-On and a clear acetate strip to lift the little critters off the ground! How clever is that?!
The sweet sentiment from Rub-A-Dub-Dub was white embossed on the pretty ink blended background!
Thank you so much for sharing this totally clever inspiration with us today, Grace!
Our What’s the Weather? challenge will be open until Sunday March 3 at 11:59PM ET. We can’t wait to see your clever weather-related creativity!
Happy Crafting, Fawnatics friends!
That is so very clever…I don’t entirely understand how it works. Is there a tutorial or instructions?
I don’t understand how it works either but it’s awesome. A tutorial would be great.
I would love a tutorial on how to do this, it’s amazing and so clever. Grace is a genius at finding different ways to use interactive elements. I am so keen to try and make one just like it. Please give us some instructions or photos of the mechanics of your wonderful card grace 🙂
Oh wow!! This card is so very cute and clever!! Could you please share instructions on how to do this? Thanks!!
Oh my gosh! That is brilliant! And SUCH an adorable scene!!! Beautiful card!!
Oh yes, I saw this on IG…sooooooo CUTE!!!
I love the card and would love to see a tutorial! I am always looking for new ways to use things I already own.
I don’t really understand how this works. Can you post a video or instructions on how to accomplish something like this?

Just the card for a spring day!
Wow! Wow! Wow! This is so cool and fun and amazing!!
Wonderful card Grace. I love using acetate for interactive cards. Trying to figure out how you’ve worked the pull tab (downward) to get vertical lift on your images. Like others a tutorial would be great!
This is just adorable! I would L-O-V-E to know how you created the mechanism. Thank you for sharing!
I saw on Insta that you answered that the mechanism was similar to the frog card you made in #44; https://www.lawnfawnatics.com/announcement/lawn-fawnatics-challenge-44-happy-little-critters but I still have a problem visualizing how you did it… It’s sooooo cool so would love to see a full tutorial
Hi Marianne, we will have to ask Grace if she can film a how-to for this card. Thanks so much!
